Where can I get an oil change?

Right here, at Pine Hill Automotive, LLC! We offer fast and affordable oil changes with easy scheduling options. Whether you want a one-time oil change or quarterly scheduled oil changes, our certified engine mechanics will ensure that your engine is always operating at peak efficiency.

What do I need to do when my change engine oil light comes on?

You need to get on the phone to give us a call—it’s time for an oil change! Sometimes it feels like cars nowadays are more computer than a machine, and your engine is no exception. It knows when it needs new oil, and it’s letting you know. Listen to your car and book an appointment.

How often do I need a tune-up?

Every vehicle has a slightly different tune-up schedule. Your best starting place is to check the owner’s manual. Otherwise, why not bring it in for us to take a look at. We are familiar with every major automotive brand on the market today. We are qualified to make recommendations for tune-ups, oil changes, and other preventative maintenance services based on the make and model and the actual condition of your vehicle. Let the experts take over!

How often should I change my oil?

Up to recently, the standard recommendation was 3000 miles or 3 months. However, with new high-efficiency oils, that number has been extended to between 7500 and 10,000 miles. Since it depends on your vehicle, bring it in to have us take a look at it.

When should I get my tires rotated?

Industry standards stipulate that your tires should be rotated every 5000 to 6000 miles. If you’re not sure, schedule an appointment with the experts.

How often should I check my tire pressure?

To ensure the continued health of your tires, check your tire pressure at least once a month.

How do I know when I need new brakes?

If your brakes begin to get spongy, jittery, or make a lot of noise, it’s probably time to bring them in for a brake service. You may require new fluid, a caliper adjustment, new rotors, new brake lines, or new brake shoes.

How often should I have my brakes checked?

It’s important that your brakes are checked during every tune-up. However, if you haven’t brought your vehicle in for a tune-up in a while, be sure to have your brakes checked every 10,000 miles or so. If anything feels off, be sure to stop driving and schedule an appointment right away!

Why are my brakes squealing? How can I stop it?

Your brakes can be squealing for a number of reasons. The most common ones are:

  • Worn out brake shoes
  • Maladjusted calipers
  • Lack of insulation shim
  • Improper rotor surface cut
  • Glazed shoes or rotor

The best way to stop it is to get an expert involved.

How long do repairs usually take?

It depends on the kind of repairs you require. Some services, like transmission repairs, are more intensive than others, like oil changes. We will give you a complete schedule with your quote.
